35mm (135) colour negative or transparency

This is a standard 35mm colour filmstrip that contains up to 6 36mm x 24mm frames. The frame number is printed on the top and/or bottom of the frame.

110 / 16mm "Instamatic" format

Each filmstrip contains up to 6 frames at 13mm x 17mm each. They are around a quarter of the size of a standard 35mm frame.

127 "Super Slide"

The frame size is the same size (50mm x 50mm) as standard 35mm slides, but the viewable area is much larger at 38mm x 38mm

Medium format 120 / 220 / 620 film

Medium format films vary in size from 6 x 4.5 up to 6 x 24.

Single frames or strips of up to three frames can be scanned, though longer frames or rolls will have to be cut prior to scanning. All sizes of film strips generally sizes at 6 x 4.5cm, 6 x 6cm, 6 x 7cm, 6 x 8cm, 6 x 9cm, 6 x 12cm, 6 x 17cm and 6 x 24cm.
