Terms and conditions of the photo repair services

Terms and conditions for photo repairs for customers of the Exposure 22 website. Requesting a repair or scanning service constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. If you are sending anything to us by post, we suggest you use suitable transit packaging. Exposure 22 cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to photos while in transit to us.
2. Any items sent to us via Royal Mail "Recorded (Signed for)" delivery service will be returned using the same recorded service. Otherwise standard first class post will used to return all items to you.
3. No two photos are the same so all restorations and repairs are priced individually and are based on the level of damage and complexity of the repair required. Estimates for any repair can only be given on receipt of the original photograph or a low resolution scan. We will require the original photo or a high resolution scan in order to complete the repair.
4. Exposure 22 always endeavour to produce the best quality repair of any photograph, though the quality of the finished repair will always be restrained by the quality of the original material provided to us.
5. Finished photos are produced using our in house high quality photo printers and will be covered by our own quality procedures. Enlargements to standard prints are produced in conjunction with 3rd party printing labs and will be subject to their own quality control procedures.
6. Any photograph or document sent to Exposure 22 must be the legal property of the customer and not be subject to any copyright infringement. If copyright exists on the photograph or document the customer must obtain consent from the copyright owner. Exposure 22 will not be held liable whatsoever for any action concerning copyright infringement.
7. Exposure 22 reserve the right to use the restored photo for promotional and marketing purposes on this website. If you prefer that we do not use the photo then please inform us.
8. PayPal, Google Checkout or bank transfer (Bank details are available on request) payments are accepted. Cheques are also accepted, but will incurr a photo release delay until clearance has been confirmed. Payments are due once the repair proof has been accepted.
9. Any free or purchased photo prints, complimentary CD, or unwatermarked repaired photos will not be despatched or released until full payment has been received.
10. Exposure 22 reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. By using this website or services you will be deemed to have accepted any changes. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether these terms and conditions have been changed and whether you agree to them.
